Super Late Post from 2021 :A Fond Farewell to Maybank and Cherishing Beautiful Souls

Life is a journey full of twists and turns, and I find myself reflecting on the remarkable experiences and cherished relationships that have shaped my path. 23rd July 2021 was the time I bid farewell to the workplace that has shape me to who I am today. My Maybank, with a heavy heart, reminiscing about the beautiful souls I had the privilege of knowing and working with. From Malaysia to Indonesia, Singapore to Cambodia, and the Philippines.


As I prepare to leave, I cannot help but acknowledge the bittersweet nature of this transition. It is undoubtedly a time of mixed emotions, as I bid farewell to a place that has been a significant part of my career life for years. The memories, the challenges, and the triumphs we shared together have become an indelible part of my journey. Leaving behind the familiar and the comfort of a workplace where friendships flourished is no easy feat.


To my dearest colleagues, past and present, I want you to know how much you have enriched my life. Each of you has brought a unique presence, and the memories we've created will forever hold a special place in my heart. Through the ups and downs, we formed bonds that transcend the professional realm, becoming a tight-knit family. The laughter, the support, and the shared goals have left an indelible mark on my soul.


To the beautiful souls I had the privilege of knowing at Maybank, I extend my deepest gratitude. Each of you has contributed to making my journey unforgettable. Whether we shared a cup of coffee during breaks, collaborated on projects, or simply exchanged a smile in the hallway, your presence brightened my days and enriched my life.


As I embark on a new chapter in life, I am immensely grateful for the colleagues who have chosen to remain friends with me. Your continued presence reassures me that the spirit of camaraderie and shared goals will persist. The bonds we have forged over the years will not fade away; instead, they will evolve into treasured connections that transcend the boundaries of a workplace.


To those who have decided to explore new horizons and pursue different paths, I wish you nothing but the best. Although our journeys may now take separate routes, the memories we shared will forever hold a place in my heart. Our paths may no longer cross on a daily basis, but the impact you've had on my life remains significant. I am obviously not the best daughter-in-law one could have. But  I’m the fun one! Hehehe…However, despite my shortcomings, I always held a deep respect for Mama. Your cooking skills were unparalleled, and I could never match your culinary expertise. But I do try my best to light the stove every now and then, attempting to recreate the flavors you so effortlessly created.
